This horse collage is great for all ages because there’s lot of variations that you can choose from.
Supplies That You Need to Make a Horse Collage:
Magazines
Scissors
Glue
Construction Paper
Step 1
Pick out pictures. Carefully pull or cut them out of the magazines.
Step 3
Cut the pictures into strips.
Step 4
Glue the strips of paper to the horse template. Don’t just put them together like a puzzle but move them around and mix things up a little bit.
Step 5
Cut out the horse using the template outline. You can cut it about 1/4″ out from the line to make it a little bigger.
Step 6
Glue onto colored paper.
It really is that easy!
This is just one variation. You can do this collage project using different styles:
- Thin or thick strips of the pictures
- One picture or many pictures
- Color coordinated or random colors
Also, sometimes kids have a hard time cutting the pictures and will fit whole pictures into the template outline. Let them be as creative as they want! It’s their project and there isn’t really a wrong way to put it together. That’s the best part of this project. No matter what they do, it’ll look great!
